Kirstin Scholtz spent ten years as the Senior Photographer for the World Surf League, specialising in photographing the world's best surfers competing in the world's best waves.
Her work has splashed the pages of newspapers, magazines and websites around the world as she travelled extensively following the elite men and women's World Tour's from Australia, to Brazil, Fiji, South Africa, Tahiti, USA, France, Portugal and Hawaii.
In January 2017, Kirstin made the decision to step off tour and turn her lens inland, focussing on conservation and the plight of the wild as Head of Content for conservation startup WildArk.
WildArk's mission is to secure more space for biodiversity globally and reconnect people with nature.
Born in South Africa, Kirstin is passionate about wildlife and conservation and has found renewed passion for photography and story-telling.
Kirstin graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, specialising in Photojournalism from Rhodes University in South Africa in 2003.
